I ordered a wireless meat thermometer for my husband today.

Our son-in-law used a wired version to cook the Thanksgiving turkey. He said you program it for the desired temp and an alarm goes off when it is ready. My husband likes to barbecue and it can get pretty hot here in the summer (Texas) so I think he'll enjoy the wireless version.

Anyone else have any experience with one of these?
