Anyone ever made Springerle cookies?
Springerle cookies are from Germany are usually made with anise. You make the design by laying a board or rolling pin with folk art designs on it over the rolled out dough.

I have a real springerle board that my aunt gave us many years ago and want to use it now.

Has anyone ever made these cookies. How did they work for you?
