Anybody here make bigos (Polish Hunter's Stew)?
I grew up in a Polish-American family so I am familiar with a lot of Polish dishes (my grandma's homemade kielbasa, stuffed cabbage rolls, pierogi, etc.) but my family never made bigos. I've seen a number of recipes and I think I would like it, but I'm curious as to what kind of traditions any of you have with it. From what I've read it's supposed to be traditional to have at New Years?
