1. i ended up making a good and easy veggie dip
8 oz sour cream
3 tablespoons chili sauce (kinda like ketchup with a kick made by Heinz)
2-3 tablespoons finely minced red bell pepper
2 teaspoon dried onion

mixed it all up and sprinkled paprika on top, chilled for a couple hours

it was a huge hit, both for veggies and just as a dip for tortilla chips

the peach cobbler was a hit too,

easy Bisquick cobbler

1 stick butter
1 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1 cup Bisquick
1 can peaches in heavy syrup

preheat oven to 350, put the butter in a 9x13 ( i use a slightly smaller pan so it's a bit thicker) and let it melt in oven as it preheats

combine sugar, milk and Bisquick (batter will be very thin)

when butter is melted, pour batter into pan (don't stir it)

drain peaches, reserve half of the syrup (about 1/4 cup)

pour peaches and syrup in the pan and sprinkle with cinnamon

bake 45 minutes at 350 until edges are brown, cool and serve with ice cream or whipped cream

it's a down and dirty dessert that is always well received
