There appears to be no way to direct link to the item without hotlinking the picture (which I don't want to do)...

But I had some leftover mac and cheese (homemade) and a few slices of uncured bacon (hey, it's sort-of healthy!)...

Made a pretty standard lowbrow meatloaf (1# beef, 1/2# pork, a chopped onion, a few cloves of garlic minced, (too many) breadcrumbs, an egg, parsley, sage, (not enough) S&P, worchestershire sauce), put half the mix in the pan, put a layer of M&C in, then molded the other half the mix around it. Topped with ketchup, then with bacon. Put the whole mess into a half-sheet pan (that was the right thing to do, as it bubbled up everywhere).

Baked at 350 to an internal temperature of 165. About an hour and change.

Roasted some cauliflower (olive oil, S&P) to serve with it, because lord knows I needed something healthy with that.

Verdict...

Not bad. :D Not something I'd make more than once in a million years...but not bad.

3. Heheh...thanks!
:hi:

Nothing else on that site looks worth trying...I think my stepkid was interested in the hamburger-on-a-Krispie-Kreme concoction, though, which I will not be accommodating (she wasn't around for, and wouldn't have eaten, the meatloaf, though).
