Any other Nutella nuts?

I love this stuff! On bread. Makes a great snack or breakfast, for that matter.

On croissants, it makes the ones from my Safeway, which are very nice to start with, taste even better. Warm 'em in the oven, open 'em up and spread some Nutella on them.

The frosting in the center layer in a layer cake. MMMmmmmM!

Dip pretzels in it.

Eat it by the spoonful!

Anyone else?

3. It self identifies as a hazelnut spread, but ......
..... it comes off as a chocolate spread with a hint of hazelnut. Creamy and smooth, it is thinner than peanut butter.

2. A friend brought me some Nutella back from Germany years ago.
We fell in love with it! Of course, we can get it here now but at the time, we thought it was quite amazing -- essentially, spreadable chocolate, though it has other ingredients, too. It's extremely rich, as you can imagine. But in Germany, they apparently put it on everything.

5. I always have it on hand
but must admit, I don't like chocolate on BREAD products. For a quick snack, I'll put some in a bowl and microwave it for a few seconds and then put a scoop of ice cream on the warm Nutella.

When I get in the mood, I google nutella and recipe and come up with the best stuff. There are loads of recipes. Here's one I just googled, which I've already made a few times to rave reviews.

Mary

GRILLED PINEAPPLE & NUTELLA

2 pineapples, peeled, cored, and cut crosswise into 1/2 thick slices
2/3 cup mascarpone cheese, at room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon sugar
2/3 cup nutella
6 tablespoons whipping cream
3 tablespoons chopped toasted hazelnuts
8 servings
20 minutes 10 mins prep

1. Whisk the mascapone cheese, vanilla and sugar till smooth and blended.
2. Combine the Nutella with cream in a small saucepan, and stir constantly over low heat for about 5 minutes, till satiny smooth, and easy to pour.
3. Set aside.
4. Grill pineapple slices in a grill pan sprayed with Pam over medium heat.
5. (you can also cook at medium high heat on BBQ, using Pam, also) Grill slices about 3 minutes per side, so you get those nice"grill marks.
6. Arrange the pineapple on a large platter or shallow serving dish.
7. Drizzle Nutella over the pineapple.
8. Drizzle the mascapone over the top.
9. Sprinkle the hazelnuts over the top, and serve immediately.

6. I grew up with it
But today I prefer the equivalent from the former GDR: Nudossi (the extra 'e' joke is quite popular).

Less sweet and better ingredients - and it simply tastes better.

7. LOVE Nutella!

I heap a couple spoonfuls into my banana nut bread batter or chocoloate cookie dough. Devine!

Like you said, it's amazing by the spoonful!

Or in hot milk, as hot cocoa!

8. Spread on thin pancakes...
...and roll 'em up!

Or dip raw apple slices right in the jar.

9. Hi, my name is ocean girl and I'm a recovering Nutella addict
I had to stop buying it because I couldn't stop eating it with a spoon every single night.

It's fabulous if you can control yourself!

10. Hello, Ocean Girl!
You may be recovering, but I know **I** don't want to! That stuff is too, too good!

But good luck with *your* recovery!

12. Thanks, H2S
Wish I didn't have such an addictive personality - I can get addicted in one day to anything sweet. Krispy Kreme is still my ultimate sugar high.

Glad you can handle it - enjoy some for me!

I bought it once, and it had such power over me, that I have lived in fear of it ever since. I avoid even looking at it in the grocery store!!!
:scared:

13. I got Nutella.
I put a little on a graham cracker for my son. He looked at it sceptically. Finally stuck his tongue out to taste it. His comment? Mmmmmmm, nummy mommy! He wandered off with the treat, then came back a few minutes later asking for more. Another addict in the making.

I looked at the label. First ingredient, sugar. Second, oil. Hard to go too far wrong with those ingredients.

14. "Kobe's Favorite"
:D

...of course, mine too. Although I didn't lose an endorsement deal, never having had one. Note to Nutella Inc.: I'm available for promos. :P

I just threw out an empty jar of the stuff with the Kobe label on it. Obviously it was a little old. :)
