2. I found an asparagus recipe the other day that just screams spring, also.
Place 1/2 lb of snow peas and 1 lb of asparagus, cut in half, in boiling water. Cook for 2 minutes, drain and place in ice water bath. Drain and set aside. Whisk together 2 T. peanut oil, 1 T. sesame oil, 4 T. rice or red wine vinegar, 1 t. sugar and 1 T. toasted sesame seeds. Pour over peas and asparagus and toss gently.

I haven't tried this yet, but it will definitely be on a menu soon.
