Does anyone bake with 3" deep round cake pans?
I have two of these cakes pans and want to bake layer cakes with them. They aren't springform. But I can't find many recipes for them. If anyone has any tips using this size pan, I could sure use them.

I found one recipe for a 3 tiered wedding cake. Adding up the three diameters for its layers, I get 24 inches. So I can make the recipe using 2/3 of the values.

I learned that one of my layers requires 5 cups of batter. Most recipes don't list batter quantity. I learned about the cups per layer and baking time from this chart http://www.baking911.com/cakes/data.htm
