Quick & Easy: Smoky Mushroom Kielbasa
Coat an iron skillet liberally with five tablespoons of olive oil and two tablespoons of butter. Add chopped onion, sliced Kielbasa, and sliced Portobello mushrooms. Add more olive oil and butter. Add one third of a packet of au jus seasoning and ½ cup water. Simmer on low to medium heat for 30-40 minutes and let liquid burn off. Minced garlic optional. Very tasty and nutritious, little fuss. The sauce makes a cloudy brown substance, clearly differentiated from the olive oil, that is just delectable. Mmmmmmmm.

1. Sounds really good
I never mixed the two in the same cooker. We usually make mushrooms and onions for on the side. But I want to try this. I presume you used smoked kielbasa?

2. Yes, smoked
I should amend my post. It's not quick, but it's easy. I stir it once every five or ten minutes. It was delish. The dog liked it, too.
