Plungerhead
Silly name.

Really great Zinfandel, from Lodi.

From Sebastiani, renowned vintner of pure crap in the 70s and 80s.

Really great Zin, this stuff. You eat it as much as drink it. Sort on the typical Zinfandel pepperiness and long on plums and jam and leather. Finishes with chocolate. No ... vanilla. Chocolate? Vanilla? No. Chocolate. Definitely chocolate.

1. On sale at CostPlus World Market right now.
We cracked open a bottle of it earlier in the week. I'm not a fan of most zins but the SO loves it and I find it drinkable so I guess we'll be getting some more for the "cellar."

3. I used to live 20 miles from Lodi
there were some good wines there, but never a LOT of good wine there. The good ones rarely made it out of Cali

glad to hear they are still rocking on.....

7. I bought "Cheap White Wine" on a whim
It had a Kraft paper label printed to look like crayon and I was in a perverse mood.

It turned out to be too sweet to cook with but was great sipping wine.

It really was cheap, too.
