New to DU, New to Dr Bronner's dish soap Just bought Sal Suds

and I have a question. I have other Dr Bronner's products that I use for shampoo & bath soap but this is my first with Sal Suds. Do you dilute it for dishes? I cannot find anything on line about it but since it is so expensive, I don't want to waste it.

I hope this is the correct forum. Must be with so many cooks. Someone has to do the dishes.

to what I had to pay for my Dr Bronner's at Whole Foods. I don't like to shop at WF and now that I have this resource, I don't have to. The 32 oz on this site was just below $2.00 more that the 16 oz. that I just bought at WF. Live and learn. I needed a good soap where the suds and grease cutting power was better than the soaps I have been buying at the grocery store.

. . . that peppermint is the only thing I've used in shower or all my sinks for eons (if you get those foaming dispensers, it takes about an ounce of Dr. B's and then water to fill, meaning even a small bottle will last for months). I've never tried the SalSuds, for some reason. I do love my Mrs. Meyer's--something about that lavender scent that makes me never hesitate to pick up the sponge, and that's another one that seems to work really well, as do their other cleaners.

They sell Dr. Bonner's products. I got some baby soaps for showering from the Dr. B web site so long ago i can't even remember how much they were. They last a very long time. :D

can refill your Dr. Bronner's from their big 5-gallon jugs and pay even LESS!

Just take your container in (original Dr. Bronner's bottle or anything else will do too) and have them weigh it at the checkout BEFORE you refill it (so they can deduct the weight of the bottle from the final price.)

Instead of $15 for a 32oz bottle, I usually pay about $9 to refill it. Better for the environment too AND you only have to but what you need (ie. don;t HAVE to fill the bottle if you'd rather buy 1/2.)

Just nerves, I guess. Sorry 'bout that.

Your comment reminded me of my grammar school days when, as punishment, we had to write 100(or more) sentences: "I will not talk during class", or "I will not chew gum during class".

Never could figure out how that helped a 6th grade Civics class to learn about government. I can hear and see the teacher now. He would walk up the aisle and plunk paper on your desk and say
"100 times, I will not do..(whatever).. during class. He was a sadistic son of a gun. We all missed the bus and had to walk home. No 2 car families where I came from. No sympathy from Mom either.
