Beet salad with almonds -

Beet salad with almonds -
Made this today. Came out pretty good ~ pinto

6 cups, Beets, boiled to just tender, drained and chilled. Coarse chopped.
2 cups, Red onion. Coarse chopped.
2 cups, Green cabbage. Coarse chopped.
1 cup, Almonds. Coarse chopped.
1 Tblsp. fresh Basil, chopped.

~ 1 cup Rice Wine Vinegar & ~ 1 Tblsp. fine sugar, blended.

Toss all and chill.

3. I love beets. The combo I like best is grilled beets with goat cheese and toasted walnuts.
