best option for a tri tip roast?
I was given a very pricey tri tip roast from a ranch that raises its beef on meadow flowers and grass. Supposed to be the American Kobe of beef.

So I'm looking for the best thing to do with this.

Any ideas?

1. For beef like this I prefer simple flavors
To be honest I don't use tri tip. I grew up on the East Coast and it isn't a cut I grew up with. I do have friends who grill it with a marinade and it's always delicious.

Here's a link to grilling it without ruining it. It's what I would do.

2. thanks for the link
I rarely cook a hunk of beef, but just don't want to do this wrong. The info at the link is useful.
