Do not open if you are vegan or vegetarian! LOL!
On Friday's we are on "summer hours" and I stopped at the grocery store after my wonderful 1/2 day of work for a few items. I have been resisting the salami for several weeks, but today (blushing) succumbed to temptation.

So . . . I'm munching on some fabulous hard salami. The description says "handmade with love," and I agree. (smacking lips) ;-)

Salami is one of my favorite foods. If it were safe to do so, I could eat it every single day. My favorite is on soft wheat bread with fresh sliced tomatoes. Nothing else. :9

Enjoy your treat. :hi:

3. Was my fave, in elementary school; still a fave, but fewer occasions to indulge now!
Try as green pepper+ cheddar 'wrap!'

4. Well I still opened it...
And even though I'm not eating meat...I can enjoy that memory of a "good" salami on a hard roll with Provolone and butter. It was my favorite sandwich as a teenager. As an adult I enjoyed it with the provolone, tomato, Basil and lots of Olive Oil on an Italian Roll. The trick is to wrap the sandwich in Plastic Wrap and leave it be for a few hours to let the flavors marry. OMG....It's a wonderful thing.

5. Eaten and drunk separately:
Various salamis

Sharp, aged Italian origined provolone

Crusty bread

California zinfandel

Eat each in turn. No sandwich. No blending of flavors. Each to stand on its own. A meal like that brings tears to my eyes.

These days, however, it comes with a Mevacor and Plavix chaser.
