Sage butter over tomato on toast!
What a great way to start the day... In fact, I ended it that way with the same thing for dinner. No pix... couldn't stop for pictures,

Take a nice long leaf to sage and ripe tomato from the garden. Briefly sizzle the finely sliced sage in about a few tsp's of butter and a shot of EVOO. Then, slice the tomato so you can lay it over a toasted great rye bread (I had left over from Panera), Then, drizzle the sage dressing over, then sprinkle w/ kosher salt.

It was so good... I'm gonna miss summer just for the memory of this. :9

1. This does sound good.
One of my favorite summer sandwiches is just a nice slice of fresh tomato on top of some good crusty bread that's toasted.

But to add sage to the mix sounds like an added bonus!

3. Yeah, especially when it's fresh!
Oh, please let the tomato season finish late, as I think it will in the Pittsburgh area. I'm looking at some good ones that need just a little more sun.
