Ross Score: A french pin, a cathedral bundt, and a mandoline.
For under $20.

I spent 3 hours (yes, 3 hours!!) waiting for an oil change yesterday, so I ended up hobbling around Ross and Petsmart. I'm just so bloody glad to be out of the house and driving and sort of walking again that even 3 hours in a crappy stripmall was better than being at home.

I got the Bundt for $12.99, the pin for 2.99 (and now I can pack away my marble one that hurts my knuckles!) and the mandoline for $4. At 4, I can decide if I want to get a really good one later.

I'm so proud of myself. I even walked 2000 steps yesterday (which is tough, considering I'm still using a single crutch, a la Dr. Weaver from ER).

1. Politicat .... on the mend(oline)
Glad you're back to being out and about! And what bravery. Of the "distessed merchandisers" (Home Goods, Marshall's, Ross, etc.) Ross has to be the toughest one to negotiate. (At least in Maryland) their stores always seem messy and disorganized.

Ya done good! :hi:
