"Mad Hungry with Lucinda" - Lucinda, have you been holding out on us???
I happened up a new (to me) cooking show on the Hallmark channel this morning while looking for

Lucinda is a tall blond woman who's cooking with her brother, making a Christmas Eve dinner with Beef Braciola, broccoli rabe braised in chicken broth, gnocchi, and salt-roasted pears (baked for about an hr) covered with homemade caramel sauce. Followed by another episode in which she's cooking by herself making homemade soups - cannellini-bean soup, pumpkin soup (cooked with a beef shank bone) with dumplings called "spinners", and tomato soup with croutons.

My, the interesting things one can find on cable tv when you want it on for it's noise but you can stand then news and political shows anymore!

Lucinda... is this you?????

1. I'm short...partially blonde, have never made Braciola, AND
after many, many attempts, still can't make a decent caramel sauce. :) I have however been "mad hungry" on several occasions! I do have a teeny, tiny mention in a wonderful bread bakers cook book though. ;)

So no!
I'm gonna have to go look for it though. She has a fabulous name, so I'm sure her food will rock! :P

I was kind of intrigued with it, and enjoyed watching a cooking show that wasn't a foodnetwork creation

I'mm sure YOUR food rocks too!

3. Thankie for posting the links! I'll poke around soon.
I've been looking at goop.com (Gwenyth Paltrow's site) at the cooking stuff. She also lists several great food blogs...interesting reading there too.
