I am lusting after a
roasted sweet potato and am fresh out! :(

What's your "I want it!" craving for the day?

2. I'd send you some if I could.
I planted a lot this year, but deer totally destroyed the plants, got nothing.

Before Thanksgiving, they were on sale here for 25 cents a lb, so I bought about $20 worth, like 80 lbs!

That will get me through the winter.

(Actually, I'm going to give about half of them to my sister next week when she comes down for a few days -- groceries are really high in the very small town in northern Michigan where she lives).

Wish I had enough ground to plant...we have a tiny lot so all i can manage is some heirloom tomatoes, peppers and herbs.

No food cravings for you today?

6. I had a big lunch, so it was soup and cheese toast for me.
After that, I had a couple of rum balls and spritz cookies. I'll be glad when the holidays are over and the temptations are fewer!

7. I am completely treat deficient tonight.
Nothing bad for me in the house at all. It's a shame! :)

8. Ha! I had a recent craving for chocolate covered raisins.
So I ordered dark chocolate raisins from a friend's kid for a school fund-raiser. It took forever - so I ordered some yogurt covered raisins elsewhere too. I have them both and the craving passed after a few handfuls of dark chocolate ones. Not nearly as good as milk-chocolate Raisinetes. And I haven't even opened the yogurt ones.

:-)

10. I'm a raisin purist.
I just like them straight up.
Not in baked goods, not coated. Same with nuts. I would try dark chocolate raisins though. I ♥ dark chocolate!

9. About a month ago - I just HAD to have lox, bagels and cream chees.
I had just one and that cured the craving. Actually it's been decades since I've had lox. I am not so crazy about the texture anymore. Do you think if I did a quick sear/fry to firm up the texture, that it would work?

11. Yawp. I bet it would.
Mostly same flavor but without the soft texture?
