1. I wanna Bosch so bad!
Everytime I turn on the dishwasher I say "die", "die you sucker", but the damned thing keeps plugging on.

2. Bosch came in bad on repairs and serious problems
It was second to last for most probs and repairs. Asko was the worst and Whirlpool was best. That's based on 12 brands and 122,000 dishwashers.
Whirlpool, Kenmore and Hotpoint are the top 3 best in this category.
...........................................

Btw, the Kenmore Elite 1626 came in 4th overall in the ratings I listed in the first posting. And it has a stainless steel interior. The Kenmore that came in third isn't stainless inside.

3. Okay, I don't want a Bosch. :)
I saw one when I was buying a new washer/dryer. My mom & I are standing there debating whether it was running or not, so I opened the door & lo & behold it was going. It was unbelievably quiet. My sounds like a train running through the house.

Anyhoo, I don't get a new one until this one dies.

Die you sucker, die!

best

4. Heh...heh
Maybe they had some Bosch lemons in the tests.

The trouble with trying to buy is that there are so many models and stores can't have them all on the floor. I'm going to go to Sears tomorrow and see about the Kenmore Elite that's 4th on the list. The decibel rating is 53 and the Bosch models run from 46 to 54. So, the Bosch lives up to it's reputation at 46 decibels.
