Spellcheck is bailing on me.
First it was on blogger.com...

Now it's happening on DU.

I've noticed fewer pop ups after installing AVG and spywareblaster.

Any ideas as to how I restore spellcheck? I'm getting tired of copying and pasting into MSWord or an email compose box (even though they're just one click each on my personal toolbar).

1. The popup blocker is probably getting your DU spellcheck.
Just hit the "Ctrl" key when you click on the link and see if it will come up.

3. Testing

The weird thing is that spellcheck works when I first log on, but it bails after one DU use.

I am now testing the Ctrl key recommendation.

No luck.

Not using IE.

Now, I'm having trouble getting DU links to work. I have to resort to 'copy and paste' instead of a simple 'click.'

I just found this link, tested it, and added it to my toolbar:

4. I was having those problems, too.
You reminded me when you mentioned having to copy and paste the links. I had to do that, too.

The problem was that I apparently now have several popup blockers -- one that came from IE through the Service Pack 2, one from Yahoo, one from Google, and one through my ISP. So it took awhile to get them all turned off for this site. But now it works fine.

As far as working the first time but not afterwards, I can't help you there but I still suspect it's related to the popup blockers.
