Is it me, my computer, or DU?
In the last couple of days when I hit the back button (IE - I know, I know get firefox) it goes back TWO pages instead of one, not always, but enough to be noticable and irritating, - haven't noticed on other sites because I spend all my time here. Any ideas? (cleaned my mouse so I don't think its dirt)

1. Does it happen when you hit the backspace key

The backspace key should also take you back one page.

If it works correctly then your mouse button has gotten a bit funky and is double clicking on you.

One of my mice is starting to do that a bit and I am ready to toss it.

Otherwise, have never heard of that before.

Edited for clarirty.

2. (blush) Never knew that about the backspace key,
will check it out - also I did notice it happened on another website as well so it must be my mouse or at least something on my side, not DU. Thanks for the "new" info - bet it IS the mouse.

3. I never knew that either!
I knew that on most sites, I can scroll down the page using the space bar but did not know about the backspace key being used to go back.

Any other tips you can share? Thanks!

4. Got a scroll wheel mouse?
When in IE, hold down the shift key and move your scroll wheel down. It will take you back a page for each click of the wheel and moving up will take you forward.

7. Yeah but it's a real pain
tab will cycle through all the links on the page.

Hold down the shift key while hitting the tab will go backwards.

But it isn't very efficient.

Once you get to the actual page where you type your post then it isn;t too bad. Just hit tab four times and it will advance to the post button then hit enter. I am doing that now.

8. Thamks
on my computer desk there isn't enough room for the mouse next to the keyboard so I have to move to reach it. 4 tabs may be easier, I'll have to try it.

5. Learn something new everyday
I've been surfing for years and never knew I didn't have to click on the back button to go back! It's nice not to have to go the mouse to do that when I am using the keyboard.
