USB flash drive software RAID 5 - possible? Or insane?
Seek times would be faster, and at 480mb/s theoretical xfer rate should be fast, as long as I'd use faster drives ("ReadyBoost" ready or the ilk)...

It's actually an idea came about because I want to make a flash drive that would store temp files AND virtual file; all of which get used anyway regardless of how much RAM has. One flash drive is okay, but multiple in tandem might yield faster performance...

1. I have no idea ...

But I just gotta say, I admire your willingness to try just about anything. :)

2. Thanks!
If it works, I'll chuck on virtualbox and add in an XP session w/Office 2007.

(on my laptop... see, no hard drive means HUGE energy savings)
