What is wrong with my browser?

What is wrong with my browser?
I posted this in the lounge but no one answered my question. My browser is displaying strangely. Drop down menus are "transparent" but the text shows superimposed over underlying text or images. Most things that should be colored or shaded don't show color or shades. I reinstalled firefox and it made no difference. I can't figure this out.

This started happening a couple of days ago, and I can't for the life of me figure out why.
Any suggestions?

1. Click the Disable button on your Web Developer Toolbar
Or use Tools --> WebDeveloper --> Disable

See if "Disable Page Colors" is ticked and untick it. That should bring your colors back.

As for the superimposed text, I couldn't say exactly without an example, but I'd look for something else in the Web Developer menu, most likely in CSS --> Disable Styles.

2. Thanks charlie, I'll try this when I get home from work.
I kinda suspected one of us click a button we should not have.
