Open Office Users V. 3 issues when opening files..
Since installing v.3 last week, I am having two problems related to .odt files.

The first is that clicking on a file name in Explorer results in a series of 'no such file exists' messages. As soon as I cancel one, another pops up. Usually I get 5 of them. I can however launch O.O. and then use the 'open' or 'recent document' command to open the same document without a problem.

My second problem involves the locking of documents without any attempt by me to do so. This seems to happen mostly when I am using a document on a removable drive such as an SD card or my Seagate backup drive. O.O. offers to open another copy of the file but will not open the original because it has been protected. I keep finding files in this format on the drives: ".~lock.filename.odt#". If I delete that file first, I can open the original but I have no idea why it's being created in the first place. There is an option to password protect a file when saving it but I do not do that. I haven't found anything in Options which might be causing this.

They are nuisances more than anything else and I suspect the first problem is a just a bug. I'm curious if anyone has an idea as to what to do about the locking issue.
