rode in on Broadbandusagemeter.exe, cause i had trouble getting rid of that, i also deleted it from the trash, ..not sure that was it, but i use CNET from now on.

it totally hijacked my computer, i got on the internet to find a cure, it adapted and every link went to the spyware purchase site they own.. extortion.

http://www.pcmech.com forums helped me get rid of it. i got 'Malwarebytes' freeware. i put the download on a CD and downloaded it and opened/ran it.. all seems well at the moment.

pcmech is a great place.. help'n the 'common person get their GEEK ON'

they were terrific help with putting my first 'Home Build' together...

4. stuff that doesnt work, we had 3 computers, the 14 yr old HP died, there's still an 8 yr old Compaq
that is barely running.. i built a complex high end ASUS, the company geek finally told me to throw away the piece of shit manual, it was the biggest problem. the BIOS in the ASUS is still problematic, no manual.

i ask a lot of questions, to keep from mess'n up expensive equipment, that is what the forum is for.

i'm helping my wife build a new computer...
