Sorry, I'm having Google problems.

I do a lot of research for work looking up stuff -- medical
terms, company names, exotic places. You name it and I've
probably looked for it.

Anyway, today Google has been absolutely worthless. No
suggestions when I get a phonetic spelling but not a
correct spelling. Just nothing has come up tonight,
and I'm not doing anything differently than I have always
done.

Other search engine suggestions would be welcome. I'm
ready to scrap the whole thing, throw up my hands and
say fuck the deadline this is bullshit.

1. If you use Firefox you can add all sorts of search engines,
some very broad and some very specialized. See this page for a hint of what is possible: http://mycroft.mozdev.org/download.html

2. On my wish list.

I have sort of a home build computer that does not
like firefox. (I bought the thing for $200 rought
built and a year later it's running like a champ.)

When I upgrade to a faster machine, more RAM, et
cetera, I will switch to Firefox. Until then, I'm
sticking to my Win'98.
