How do I get SBC/Yahoo DSL service to use my wireless router connection?
I can't get it to connect any way other than the ethernet connection.

Thanks for the help!

1. You need to get the router connected to the DSL modem via ethernet.
And the DSL modem connected to the internet via the phone line.
And of course your computer connected to the router either by
wire or wireless ethernet.

This is a configuration issue with the router and the DSL modem,
usually these things are done via a web page. You pull up
http://192.168.0.1 (for example) in your browser and get a
configuration menu. You then tell it the inside address of your DSL
modem and various other things, and then maybe have to configure the
modem too, if it has forgoten it's settings, or they changed, etc.
At this point reading the manual is a good idea.

Without knowing more specifics I can't say much else

2. See the other reply and check your cabling. Some routers need
a straight-through cable and some setups need a crossover.

5. I NEVER got that to work
FWIW I have a Netgear wireless router and when I last moved, PacBell sent me a shiny new Speedstream 5100B. Despite a week of trying, I was never able to get the 5100B to properly bridge with the router and allow computers to connect (the SpeedStream itself was good because I could connect fine without the router). I ended up having to plug my older Speedstream 5260 in to connect, and I'm still using it today. My 5100B will probably get Ebayed one of these days.

4. You Need...
to set your router up for PPPoE and supply your log-in information for SBC/Yahoo.
