Suggestions for a good relatively inexpensive all in one printer that is wireless..
We have three computers, two Vista Laptop and one XP desktop. I need something easy to set up since I know just enough about computers to make me dangerous...

I do taxes so I need reliability.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated....

1. Long time fan of Brother printers

Have the wired version of this both at home & work. Things I like are:
*Paper lies in flat tray - no curling
*Can do borderless (edge to edge) printing
*Inks come in 4 separate cartridges, accessible via front panel. Will not start a print job unless there is sufficient ink, so none is wasted on badly inked prints.

3. I have a Brother and I don't like it. I have had HP's for more than 20
years and I do like them.

4. Just added a new HP wireless
HP Photosmart Premium. So far I like it. Bought it because of higher quality scanner. No real savings on ink as expected. Very easy install.

5. No need to buy a wireless printer if you have a wireless network
If your computers are part of a wireless network all you have to do is go to Printers in Control Panel on the computer to which the printer is physically connected, right click on the printer and "share printer".

6. Very good results with HP Photosmart
For home office, use a couple-year-old HP Photosmart that works well wired or wireless. One of the basic all-in-one designs with document feeder, two paper trays (one photo), able to handle legal size documents.

Only regret on that system is with scanning slides. I think the current models do a better job with slides. I think these are around $200 these days.

its got to be a good 10 years old now and still just as good as new. Still looks like new too
