1. Need more info to help. How are you connected to the net currently? Does the DVD have net type
connection Make and model would help(both net modem and DVD). In our area the net cable provider provides a wireless router on request and the instructions are usually are all you need, but they will provide a housecall for a small fee(65$).

One thing to keep in mind is if you install your own wireless router the provider will offer no tech assistance and blame all problems on your equipment.

Link to a wireless router one I have used and good price.

Other types of connection such as DSL usually comes with a wireless modem, so you may already have one.

2. i installed fios verizon
a very fast internet connection (approx 25mps) and it came with a wireless router. the problem is that i dont know what i should get in order to have a dvd player connect wirelessly to the net so i can use netflix. In essence i think i need a router from the player which will then connect to the router which came with the fios installation. Am i wrong?
In case i have a blue ray player by samsung bd-p3600 and a samsung 1080i hd tv. thanks for the help.

3. Again the wireless router is taken care of now you need to google
"netflix streaming devices" or check this on nexflex site (79$)

it has a builtin wifi or you can use a cat 5 cable to run a wire connection.
