Email issue: Anybody else getting a lot of virus spam labeled "DHL" "FEDEX" and "UPS" lately?

It's got the names of those companies or some variant verbiage like "your UPS team" and things like that. I've deleted all of it but it's been insanely relentless.

I rarely if ever actually get packages through those services, but is there any way to stop this shit WITHOUT setting the spam filter to specifically block anything from them?

Also, anybody hear if the cyber-police are anywhere close to nailing whoever is doing this? I wonder if one of those services just fired an insane IT guy who is devoting himself now to doing this 24-7?

They come up with new variants to the subject line to beat the filters. I set my Mozilla to mark as junk anything not in my address book. That filters out about 99% of the crap. If I get an email from some place I do business with, then I mark that as not junk and no more problems.

Used to be I'd get about 100 spams a day but now it's down to one or two on my primary catchall email box.
I have about 8 email boxes set up depending on what I use them for. My box for financial stuff is used for nothing else and it gets maybe one spam a month. My friends all have a box for that so I know what any email there is. My business one is used only for that. I have a tendency to compartmentalize for security reasons.

I have 6 computers here at the house counting my laptop and HTPC when they're on and they're not networked. If any one of them gets hit, the others are safe. I also back up my data on a regular basis-none of which is kept on the C: partition. I have image copies of all my OS drives and can fully restore in under 15 minutes.
