I've been getting several error reports from Java every day.
I followed the instructions on the error report to report it to them, and when I got to the end of the form they asked for a Sun ID #, It also said if you don't have one, click "create" to get one. I dod that and the only message I got was Page cannot be displayed. There was a phone # so I called to ask how I can get an ID # and was told since I was only an end user, I culdn't use that form, I have to go through the java help page. Well, I tried their live chat, and in order to report any problem I have to pay them $50.00!! What the hell??? I just signed off.

Is my only option to just continue deletingthese error messages? That's what I have been doing, but it's a PIA.

1. Go and download
A new Java installation and follow the instructions to install.

2. I just tried to download Java from the link you sent, and I got the message
You already have version 6 25".

I've thought about deleting it and downloading it again. Do you think that will help?

3. Then it's near impossible to say
what is causing the errors. Could be a conflict with a browser add-on or something else happening in your computer.

If you have time, try a fresh installation. Remove the old Java via the Change or Remove programs window in Control Panel and reboot before installing the new.
