Publisher help needed, please

I am about to beat my head against a wall...EVERY month I go through HELL trying to get our company newsletter to print and print CORRECTLY.
I print it as a booklet on 11x17 paper, and EVERY fuckin' time I set out to print, the damn thing changes orientation, or the images rotate, or the blinkin' thing will NOT print on both sides of the damn paper!!!
We've checked the printer drivers; the page setup; the layout; everything we can think of. I attached the damn thing in an e-mail to our IT goddess, and it won't print decently from her PC either, so it doesn't seem to be just my PC...
Is Publisher just that user-unfriendly, or what???? Print troubleshooting is of no use whatsoever; everything is set up just as it should be; print preview looks fine, but it WILL NOT WORK!
The PAPER has to be landscape, but the IMAGES have to be portrait, and it just is making me so damn mad I could scream!
If anyone has a clue as to what's happening, I would really appreciate some insights!

have you grouped each side of your newsletter all together as one object and then tried to print? To do this, open your publication, go to top toolbar "Edit--Select All" and then "Arrange--Group". My thought is that if all of the various text boxes and picture frames on your page are grouped as one object, the printer won't be able to change the placement of individual items. Good luck.
