I am taking a Spanish class over the internet...Wordpad is what
the instructor uses to return my work with corrections. Her corrections show up in blue, but all of the text has a line through it which makes it hard to read. Is there any way for me to remove the lines and just leave my original text and the corrections? Thank you!

your instructor is correcting your work in MS Word, using the strikethrough format on certain words. She is then saving it as .rtf format and on your computer the default program to open rtf is wordpad.

If you have Word, try changing the file extension to .doc. Ignore any warnings about making the file unstable. This will force the document to open in Word where you have the option, under the format menu (format\font) to remove strikethrough.

You could also try visiting control panel\folder options\file associations, then change the default opening program for .rtf to Word or another text editor that has more advanced formatting abilities than Wordpad.

3. thanks, I don't know exactly what I did , but I saved it as a .doc..the
lines are gone but so is the blue color of the corrections..and there were plenty of corrections! At least now I can read it and compare it to my original submission. Thank you.

2. In word pad, select all (ctrl+a)
With everything selected, go to the menu and FORMAT>FONT

Select and unselect the "underline" box

4. Thanks, it would not undo the lines no matter what...but when I
did ctrl + a and forwarded the document back to myself the lines were gone, as was the blue text...
Thank you for helping..
