Avatar help, please. I've tried,
searched for current and archived info. I want to add a custom avatar. Cannot figure out how to do it. Simple as that. This old granny is over her head. I have a cute kitty picture in a folder in "My Pictures" I know it is too large. Still cannot figure out how to resize it and then get it to post in my profile. Of course I'm doing it all wrong. Getting repeat error messages. Any quick words of advice? .(I disabled pop-up blocker )Am I using the wrong search words to find the answer? Surely I'm not the first that cannot do this. Thanks for any help. A little computer knowledge is a dangerous thing.....

1. Ask nicely in the Lounge and somebody will probably help you.
I'm not on a computer with any photo resizing apps, otherwise I'd do it.

I will supply an email address.
Send me the picture.
I will resize it for you, and mail it back.
You save it from the return email.
Perhaps then the avatar upload will work.
At least then the resize problem will be solved.
