yappy pet birds....
oh, why are they sometimes SO yappy and never seem to learn to associate blanket over cage with "shut up already"?

:( yikes!

1. Mine tended to want attention
when they got noisy. But I have learned to not give it to them then so as soon as one gets quiet it gets attention. I also taught them to say I need love when they want attention now. It took a while, specially since one was abused over being noisy before he came to us but they have both learned asking quietly gets the attention and the Gray now tells the Lory to shush when she gets to squawking. Though it can be loud and take a while to train them that way in the long run it keeps everyone happier.

2. I think it is the weather change. My little one talked non stop Sat.
and Sunday. She does however like the cover and does sleep when it is on.
