1. What a gorgeous kitty!!
I want him. Is he cross-eyed? My blue Himalayan is cross-eyed.

2. Pad Thai is a Lilac-point Siamese
Edited on Sun Feb-12-06 03:07 PM by demnan
Yes he is cross-eyed. Doesn't seem to affect his vision though. Your Himalayan probably got it through his Siamese genes.

Oh and you can't have him, he's a Momma's boy!

3. He is just gorgeous. I want to kiss his little silver nose.
That's a very nice collar--stylish, and quite becoming. Is it new?

4. Yes it is new
I like Pad Thai in stylish black and white, it sets off his elegant features and suave urbane personality.

5. All cats have amazing eyes. It's hard not to wonder what it does to
their vison when they're crossed like that, poor guy! I wonder if he focuses with just one when stalking something?

More pretty kitty eyes:

Puck giving me her "freaky eyes":

6. It doesn't seem to bother him
I think actually with Siamese the optical nerves are close together giving the appearance of being cross-eyed. I've never noticed a visual impairment with Pad Thai. He looks out the window and stalks without turning his head, as you would expect with a cat whose vision is impaired.

17. My Lord Lorien, that last shot is definately pro quality - you're quite
the photographer. All of them are pro quality really but the last one you could sell as a stock photo, easily. I've noticed many of your shots are quite good. What kind of camera do you use?

18. Thanks! Here's a better one, taken at the same time:

I'm just using a Nikon Coolpix 4600-not a pro-quality camera like ET Awful's. The Coolpix performs poorly in low light, so lighting is crucial to getting anything halfway decent. I'm also lucky to have two willing participants; my other cat Miro hates the camera-a phobia he picked up from another kitty, Peewee, who passed away a few years ago. Good lighting, willing subjects, and an alluring cat toy make for a passable photo. ;-)

14. He definitely loves the cold weather!
He's always trying to run out the door whenever it snows. But he is STILL shedding like crazy. And I've had to brush him twice as much now, and he is still getting mats near his collar.

Your cat looks adorable. The picture has been blown up large and sadly his beauty is a bit out of focus, but if you pm me, and send me the original photo, I'll do what I can to fix it for you. Thanks for posting!
