Does your Kitty ever turn into The Cat From HELL????
How can a normally well socialized (though somewhat spoiled) pet morph into a Demon from HELL ?
..............just because he doesn't Get His Way?

THERE!!! That ought to show 'em!

1. LOL!
Good think he attacks the paper towels and not your arms! That would be a real demon from hell, rather than a playful cat.

2. That cat look exactly like my cat
Gypsy. They could be twins! And she does the same thing, only with the toilet paper. About once a month. She loves to spin it off the roll. Apparently it's great fun. :P

3. This looks like our new kitten....
Does your cat happen to have 6 toes on it's front paws? I'm afraid if I look closely enough at our cat I'll see "666" emblazoned on its skin.

4. No, he only has five, but each paw....
... is loaded with razor sharp WMDs.
He isn't playing with this roll of paper towels, he is killing it, and he is pretty clear about "Don't mess with me until I get this out of my system.

His proper name is HouseBoat Willy, but he answers to Bug or Bad Kitty. He was adopted from the shelter as a small kitten 1 1/2 years ago.

He spent his first year living on a houseboat (mouser)in the wilds on the banks of the Missippi River...Kitty Heaven.

We recently were forced to move into an apartment in an urban area. He can't go outside, and doesn't understand why we can't go home. He is slowly adapting. I have alot of compassion, and if he occassionally throws a tantrum I understand.

Most of the time, he is a very social, engaging, curious, interactive, slightly spoiled family member.
Like this:

There are other pics of him all over DU.
This is the same cat in Kitty in the Tub.

5. Oh now, don't take my cat's name in vain!
LOL. Yes, we had an episode of CAT FROM HELL on Friday when the big brother made his grand entrance to our new house. Daddy flew with him, while the little red cat came in the car with me.

The Daemon freaked out on Sebastian and became the Incredible Hulk, hissing and spitting at brother dear. Apparently he was quite concerned that Fatty B. was an "intruder" in HIS new house.

Rescue Remedy and hours later, the madness passed. We think the Daemon has CRCS (can't remember cat shit).

7. Whaddya mean turn into? She IS the cat from hell.
Molly was doing that toilet paper thing this morning! We'd thought it was the dog. Now we feel guilty.

Our cat is a monster. She is completely, utterly, uncontrollable. I am looking forward breathlessly to the day several weeks in the future when we can finally have her fixed and get her calmed down a bit. She's making me mental.

It's tub kitty! I loved the pictorial. It was hilarious!

8. A few nights ago
One of our cats was sliding off Haele's side of the bed or something. He got himself scared, and launched himself across the bed.

Haele was bleeding from one spot, I was bleeding from two, and he hit the floor on my side of the bed.

Our other cat's tail was puffed to maximum size. I still have no idea what happened, but being woken up bleeding from cat wounds is rather, um, alarming. :-)

9. Oh that's the Bushtail move
or bottlebrush maneuver.

My red cat will usually arch his tail and do one of those when he is startled or there is a full moon and he turns into a freak.

11. LOL my MIL used to call my rescue DSH Jamie the Demon Cat
Jamie at her heaviest weighed 9 pounds, she's a little grey and orange kitty with a broken tail. But she was feisty and didn't like her sleep to be disturbed, especially by strangers. Luckily, Jamie's feistiness has led to a long life, she will turn 17 next month.
