Well, it appears the boys are girls!

I've never tried to guess at the gender of baby kitties before, and I blew it this time!LOL! It appears that Michelle has had a litter of FOUR GIRLS instead of two and two like I'd thought. So, a little adjustment in the names was necessary.

So, the final names I chose were:

1) Molly for Molly Ivins.

2) Fabi (Wydell got dibs on one to name for a friend)

3) Shirley, for Shirley Chisholm, the first African American woman in Congress.

4) Maggie, for Margaret Sanger, social activist who opened the first women's birth control clinic. Considering the events of late, I decided this one was most appropriate!

But, I still might get the chance to name a boy Boxer (for Barbara). An abandoned kitty was found today, and I am busy coaxing Michelle to nurse it. If it's a boy, Boxer it is! Otherwise, I'll be looking at the women's history hall of fame again!LOL

Hope mom can handle them all! She has that faraway, patient look on her sweet face. :) I still get mixed up after many years. An easy trick is to remember a female is an upside down ( ! ) and a male is a ( : )
