Update on my dog's sudden facial mole.
Here's the original thread. I promised to update the group after I'd been to the vet. Well, it turns out that Bear has a wart! I didn't even know dogs could get warts! So it's definitely a benign growth. Going to wait a bit to see if any others develop and then see how much it costs to have it (them) removed. Now he has a new nickname: My Little Warty Dog. LOL Anyway, just wanted to let you all know about the happy ending! :hi:

2. Yeah warts! I get one about every 10 years...
Tell Bear it is a beauty mark -- people around the world have them drawn on if they aren't lucky enough to have a real one of their own.

4. I thought it might be a wart - but I am really glad you went to the vet...
My 15 y/o beagle mix Luna has several. The vet told me a lot of people think they are ticks and end up at the vet because they try to pull it off - ouch.

So happy Bear is okay :hi:

5. When he's in a bad mood, tell him to stop being a wart!

OK, that was corny - but thank you for the update and I'm SO GLAD it's benign!!!!!!!!!!!
