So I have the new puppy but no pix yet
except the one that made me fall for him on petfinder.

I went 500 miles to get this pup in Missouri and he is adorable. I am guessing he is part leonberger and the other part is some kind of herding dog. His tail is docked and I don't know if it is natural or not. I brought him home Saturday night. His name is going to be Ollie/Oliver but he doesn't know it yet. Right now he probably thinks his name is NO! He wants to chew EVERYTHING and it is such a disappointment that NO! is so often the answer.

He is 4 months old and 35 lbs so yes, he is going to be a very big boy. He has been to the woods and the dog park and he loves to run with the big dogs. Tonight its raining so we couldn't go out and he is very restless. There is a drip drip drip sound from the rain and after listening to it he got up and peed- first time he's done that inside!

4. So the little wildman jumped out of the car window in a parking lot
tonight. We had just been to the dog park and I stopped at the grocery store to get a few things. He was in the back seat with his leash still on and I left the back windows about half way down because its warm out, maybe 75 degrees. I've left him in the car before, no problems.

Well tonight I came out of the store and there was a young woman walking him on a leash and I said hey, thats my dog! She was parked in the car next to mine and said he was hanging over the window trying to jump out while she was unloading her groceries- it was a tight fit but he did it. Thank goodness he still had the leash on and she was there when it happened!

6. I had one that was a Houdini dog
If he could get his head through the hole, the rest of him would wiggle through.
