My Pomeranian foster puppy is growing up....
This is the little puppy mill guy I rescued last fall.

His first night in my home, face full of baby food (his mother didn't survive, so I hand fed him for a week or so before he went on puppy kibble):

Soon thereafter:

He's in the process of blowing his puppy coat, and the verdict is in - he's going to be an orange Pom. This was his first romp in the snow, a couple of days ago:

And the inevitable crash after a hard 10 minutes of making snow puppies:

He's five and a half months old now, weighs a whopping 4.1 pounds, and is being neutered on March 23rd. It's been a long time since there's been a puppy in the house, and except for the chewing and nipping - he's already getting better with that - it's been a blast.

4. it's going to be a tough decision
The last thing I need is another dog, but it's going to be hard giving him up after so much effort making sure he grew to adulthood. He was very hypoglycemic in his first three months and we had some scary moments with it.

I wouldn't adopt him out until he's neutered anyway, so I have another few weeks to decide if the household can absorb another Pomeranian.
