Any Ideas on the Breed mix of my foster pooch?
This is Cody, and he's a 22 lb 5 yr old, playful silver grey boy.

I think that he's part schnauzer. He has silvery grey, silky, wavy fur that doesn't grow any longer that his photos. He has a jaunty, light walk and can jump very high. His ears are like satellite dishes, and can also lay straight back, like a greyhound.

Any ideas on what his mix might be?

My foster is getting spayed today. I brought her home Saturday to foster after 5 months at the shelter.

3. Whatever he is, he's very cool
I see a lot of terrier in there. Beyond that, it's a mystery. :D

4. This is way out of left field
and I admit to bias since the best dog who ever owned me was a blue heeler, but it struck me that besides Schnauzer there might be a drop or two of Australian Cattle Dog, or some hybrid of that breed - heeler, kelpie, sheperd, whatever the current terminology is.

Again, maybe wishful thinking, but I found these pics on the intertubes (I'll try to arrange it so your pup's pics are close for comparison):

11. Good guess. But neither breed is much of a jumper really so maybe add additional terrier to that?

13. Has features of a Scottish deerhound IMO..
They also carry their ears back, although they perk them up when excited.
Coat looks like a deerhound as well. Does he bark much? Deerhound are on the quiet side.
Maybe Schnauzer on the other side? Regardless, he's a handsome fellow. Good luck in finding
a placement.....z

And you said that he can lay back his ears. Deerhound carry theirs back, but they can
perk them up. As for the other parent, perhaps Schnauzer. Certainly is a handsome fellow.
