1. Just 52.
She's bigger than we thought she'd be (must be that good organic food we're feeding her) but still less than half the size of my old Lab. Far, far more destructive and mischievous though. We love her anyway.

19. Whoa...
:wow:

That is a LOT of catness.

Aren't you glad cats aren't 'pack' animals? That much mass (with muscle, claws and BRAINS) all coordinated, motivated and pointed in the same direction could be DANGEROUS...

31. 99#
Just one big beastie. Not fat, just big. And, right around 50# of kitties. One of them, though is 17.5. She's just huge. Tall, long, and thick. A little paunchy (like lots of spayed indoor cats), but mostly just huge. The others are pretty much normal indoor tabbies.

44. No dog lives here on a permanent basis but........
A 125 pound Bernese Mountain Dog just went home after spending 13 days in my care. I close off most of the rooms in the winter because it is too hard to heat this old house. One person and one 125 lb dog in two rooms is a little much. He is huge. Good dog, very mellow but hard to escape from.

I also care for a 75 pound yellow Lab now and then. She, on the other hand, is small enough that we can share the couch in the late afternoon, when I decide to read for a while.

I love dogs..big dogs...but the Bernese was just a little too big. He went home yesterday, today I took my Den rug to be cleaned and am now vacuuming to beat the band. He sheds in proportion to his size!

My new kitty wasn't too happy with things but today she is happy to investigate the two rooms I closed off from her. She spent these past days on the second floor. I visited her several times a day. I know she was spooked but all in now fine. For her, the good part was spending the night on the bed snuggled next to me.
