Is overcharging by a Veterinarian something that can be reported?

We live in a small town and do not use the local Vet, but instead drive 40 minutes to get to one that we think is better. We used to go to the local one but when the Vet refused to do a life saving surgery, we found someone who would. They did on a last note state that they could bring someone in to do it at nearly double the cost. We went where we could afford it and it was offered first.
This is actually not the issue although I have a couple with this person but I discovered the other day that one of the supplies that I am able to pick up at their business, well, they have been charging me over twice what two other Vets charge me. I think they has been doing it with a few other things but on a smaller scale of a few dollars here and there.
I do not wish to get into it with this person but feel they have been an ass to me for a few months now. The Vet even refuses to see my pets for heart worm tests. So much for trying to be nice to this Vet. And they have claimed that I have threatened to sue them which is total BS X 10. I think they could be crazy actually.
Any advise?
I would like to make a complaint but not get into trouble about it with the Vet. I know they can refuse service for any reason and even a trumped up one but this Vet has actually yelled at me and sounded very threatening and has stressed me out. We are no longer going to even get supplies there.

oversees veterinarian licensing. I have had an experience with a vet who gouged a friend of mine and wouldn't let her have her dog because she had forgotten her checkbook. Friend, and 82 yr. old woman, had to drive home, get her checkbook, then drive back to the vet's office to pick up the dog. We both took our business to another vet who is much further away, but who is much more compassionate, even has signs in her exam rooms stating that terms can be arranged if the client doesn't have all the money at exam time. My pets are much happier with the new vet, even though they all hate riding in the car that extra distance.

If you've already severed your ties with that vet, I wouldn't worry about causing trouble, unless you think you might have to use their practice at some time in the future.
