Teddy the cattle dog was adopted.

Teddy was adopted this weekend. We had him for six weeks. He's a great guy and I'll miss him.

We also brought home a new foster dog. His name is Blue and he's a one year old Lab mix. He's incredibly clingy and suffers from a severe case of separation anxiety. The good thing is he loves to play with our dogs and he had not shown any signs of wanting to play at his previous foster home. Even our grumpy old cattle dog Petey plays with him.

Blue is very sweet and loving but he's going to have to go to a home with a stay at home person or he'll have to be placed with someone that will take him everywhere they go.

1. Nice to hear Teddy found a home

I love my ACD Murphy(probably mixed) - he's the first one we ever had. Before him, all our dogs were Lab/Shepherd mixes. We have a Louisiana Catahoula Leopard(probably mixed),too. We thought we would try "something different" and we sure did find that in these two!

Good luck on finding a new home for Blue. I would adopt them all if I had room :-).

I'm so happy for him. And good luck with your new guy. There's a special place somewhere for foster pet parents.
