Hi, all! Newbie here...

Just wanted to say hello! I've been a longtime lurker on DU, but just recently registered and started posting -- and donated, so I just found out that this group was here! I'm so glad to have found this little corner of DU, and I'm sure I'll be spending a lot of time here! As you can tell from my username, I'm a Deaniac through and through -- and one of the many people Dean inspired to become involved in politics for the first time. (And I STAYED involved -- I'm now the chair of the local DFA group in Howard County, Maryland.) I see several threads that I want to reply to, but I need to get my kiddos in bed, so that will have to wait -- just wanted to post a quick "drive by" hello before I logged off for a while!
