The events of today have put the cherry on top of my irritation. I've been dormant-ly irritated about the Health Care issue for weeks, with an impending sense that we're not going to get what we need this time, for whatever reason that may be. And I'm just not happy about it. I feel we need this now, not later. I understand there may be good reasons for it not passing now, but I'm just so tired of all of this taking so damn long! Why? Sorry, I always ask that.

Of course the grave dancing of some people (not here of course, but this was set off by one of my Facebook friends asking if Mary Jo _______ was going to be the first to meet Sen. Kennedy in heaven) is just sending me off my rocker. This, because of the grave dancing done on one other person that I must, again, mention:

Michael Jackson.

I KNOW you all are tired of that, but what sparked it again in my consciousness was a post over at spiritlibrary.com.
http://spiritlibrary.com/christina-lunden/lightworkers-beware-of-the-michael-jacksons-of-this-world
In this message, the channeler says "Thinking about his life; what would you have other people look up to Michael and emulate him for? Would it be for his creativity? Would it be for his lying, stealing, manipulating? Would it be for his ego? He is the antithesis of everything the *light* is trying to represent here on Earth."
and
"We must beware of the Michael Jackson’s of this world. Michael Jackson was not a Soul who was ascending. He couldn't’t handle the 4th dimensional energy and he left. He was 3rd dimensional and never wanted to leave that egotistical place. Beware of joining in and agreeing with what the world says just so that you can fit in, get more clients or sell more products."
and
"He is a representative of everything we walked away from; everything we are fighting to change."
and
"How can we say that we walk in honesty and truthfulness when we say that we will miss the Soul that was Michael Jackson? What do you miss about him? His music? Before his death, when was the last time you sought out his music to listen to it? What does honesty and truthfulness have to do with the way he was living in this world? We are not saying that you shouldn't’t love him for the Soul he was. We do. But we as representatives of the *light* shouldn't’t stand up for what he represented while he was here. By the comments we have been hearing from *Lightworkers* all over the world, there has been a lot of standing."

Look, I KNOW it's just one channel, and that different channels will not always be something that will ring true, and I should just let it go, etc. etc. But this is just ridiculous. And of course everyone is free to disagree with me on that assertion to. But I cannot, cannot let it pass. I will be writing a rebuttal to this very soon, although I am not sure where I will be able to post it. This particular thing will not leave my mind until I do so.

So, my point here is that I usually don't get assertive and argumentative when it comes to spiritual and political situations. But for some reason I've just lost the patience, and the will to have it, today..about these things. I don't need to be reminded that fighting against something only gives it energy; I already know that. I don't need to be reminded that everyone has a right to their own truth. I still feel as if I need to say something, so I'm going to. Anyone else feeling this way about the same, or different issues? Feeling a motivation to act on some things?

On edit: and not to mention that I felt someone in GD was being attacked because they were sensitive to violence on a tv show. I was astounded at the people who told this person to shut up and deal with it; that there was something wrong with them and they should 'take a look at themselves'. Bunch of crap, sorry. I really was moved to say something. I'll probably regret it later...LOL. I'm very tired at the more sensitive of us being treated that way.

And have felt that way for a very long time. I have argued also, I tend to say "I am not a good liberal" because I do argue back so much. But, like you, I have even found myself wondering where the heck a lot of liberals are coming from? It doesn't take much to show decency to the dead, it doesn't matter what one's beliefs or thoughts. Not much at all. And I have the right to decide that someone else is showing absolutely no decency. It is very difficult to keep quiet when someone acts like they have no humanity at all.

I have just posted a bunch of positive Ted Kennedy stuff on my FB page, and I will see if someone makes an ass out of themselves. But bottom line is that I did not make an ass out of myself with any recent Republican passings, so I have a clear conscious on the issue. I might post that if someone acts up. I KNOW my behavior has not been bad in this regard, and I would hate to have the emotional/spiritual after-effects of people who can't even have respect for the dead.

I am one of those sensitive people that can't watch a lot of violence. The idea that it means there is something wrong with me is idiotic! Having violent images in our faces daily is not something normal in the human race until recently. Even the armies of the past had long marches and boredom between their bloody battles. I also refuse to accept that a barrage of constant violence is supposed to be "normal". No, it's never been normal, why should people be ok with it?

Keep yourself whole lildreamer, these other people are splitting themselves to pieces with their hatefulness; if it harms us to be negative, they have to be operating under the same Universal forces, don't they?

2. I am trying..
to keep myself whole.
Now I'm a bit scared. Whenever I stand up for something I believe in, it scares me. I dunno why. I do it anyway, but I have this really tight feeling in my chest.
I think I need to take a break. I have stopped replying to the GD situation, but have added a couple of things on Facebook. I feel I may lose the 'friend' over it, but it isn't a close one anyway. I'm just so tired of petty, mean stuff. There's no need for it. None at all.

4. Thanks, I'm just ashamed that I got so angry.
No need for it, but that just pushed my buttons. I apologize to the Universe, and am trying to relax now.
Thanks for the support, however.

Side note: hope to be able to 'coffee' with you both sometime soon. I'm sure you know wer're still in a bit of a tight situaton, but it should improve as fall gets into gear. Managers at husband's job have already asked the owner for approval of a schedule change so that he will be on better nights. I'll keep you posted.

Ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. ;)

5. lildreamer,
I had read that channeler's comment at the time - and I was quite amazed. Amazed in a way of negative energy - that I wonder how many are really connected with the universe and the masters and enlightened ones - while it is also true, that no one will be connected all the time.
That specific post has no shred of light in the way it is worded, no respect, no understanding and compassion for a fellow traveler with all our faults.
Not all are true channels - in fact, I think very few are.

6. Sadly, my brain is too muddled to fully absorb your post, however...
if what you are saying is that you don't agree that Michael Jackson was evil and you didn't care for the violence on '24', I'm with you. The show is a great adrenaline rush, but I can't stomach the torture, and I abhor violence.

When I think of Michael Jackson, I think of a human being, much like ourselves, who had struggles, much like ourselves. Who am I to judge? I admit I did not care for the fan worship, but he is a human being, and he died too young.

I am very sad, as many here are, at Ted Kennedy's passing. I knew he was ill, but his death is such a blow. This is an interesting year, where many of us are losing our icons, be they, 'good' or 'bad'- they are a part of us. It's weird.
