I've felt like I'm face to face with a brick wall lately, so I'm hoping this helps to break through.
Getting these daily messages have been invaluable for me in the past-and I love all the play on words that she uses.

7. The only standards you need to accept are your own.

I don't think you have to give up your sense of humor and appreciation for the buffoonery currently masquerading itself around as pious indignation. Go ahead and laugh at them. How else will they have any idea how ridiculous they are?

I've never understood this need to give up humor in order to prove one's spirituality.

8. Laughter is the best medicine.

It's only about laughter at the expense of others not being healthy. The beautiful higher standards of the higher dimensions merely preclude taking advantage and such as anathema, and certainly, others' loss would not be considered a laugh riot.

9. Has anyone received a rejection?

A dear friend signed up and received the reply, "Regrettably, your application to join World Gratitude Gathering has been rejected."

She opted out of paying anything up front.

I haven't signed up as yet, but this feels very odd. Just wondering if others have experienced anything similar with this particular site.

10. That doesn't sound right at all-never heard of it happening

From their website:

"World Gratitude is a community supported gathering.
That's right, it's up to YOU! We're offering this program on the basis of Appreciation. We believe so deeply in the benefits of this gathering, we want everyone to be able to participate, regardless of current financial circumstances."

:shrug:I didn't have to pay anything at all for this. It was basically click on the multi-color box at the lower right of the page that says "circle up" and type in your user name and e-mail where you'd like the messages sent...

Maybe a snafu? I'll sign up myself later. Maybe my friend should try again, or even email them asking if the rejection email was valid?
