I took a Reiki 1 class this weekend

and of course had an attunement.

1. I have had a SPLITTING headache since, and I am not prone to headaches at all

2. I am more thirsty than I thought humanly possible

Other than that, I loved it and feel great.

Sorry about the headache - if you were taught about reiki guides or are comfortable w/guides in general it might be useful to ask them to help you acclimate to the attunement and to reduce the influx of new energy until you are physically comfortable with it. My first attunement made me dizzy and nauseated especially when I treated others even my cats who all wanted to sit with me at the same time after to soak up the vibes. I drank extra water, talked with my guides and did a MAP Coning all of which helped me adjust. It is pure good energy but can be overwhelming for some at first.
