A post of appreciation for the astrology, spirituality and alt healing grp

I just wanted to say I really appreciate and enjoy this forum on DU though I seldom post to it. I'm here every day and I find so much of interest and value that it makes me wonder why I was so reluctant to contribute here when it draws me so powerfully.

It has been my belief that my background knowledge on the topics discussed here is superficial at best, and therefore lurking here was much more important than posting. Maybe I was wrong.

The DU community is growing by leaps and bounds and I always thought that if I posted on subjects I had firsthand knowledge of, I would be contributing to the discourse on DU in a more valuable way than if I just posted the occasional comment of, "Wow, that's cool" here in this forum.

Thank you for all that you've given me and the support I've found here even though I wasn't a regular. Now that Saturn is finally moving out of my opposite sign, I believe that I need to find new ways to express my passion and new colleagues to unite with to pursue the core values of the truly progressive community.

So, make yourself more visible here, will ya? I'm sure you know more about things than you imagine. Remember, ALL of us can take being reminded now and then of what we already know. In fact, most of the time I "share" anything with ANYbody, the real purpose -- or at least a joint purpose -- is to remind myself.

I hope you post more here...my gut tells me you have way more to share than you may think.

I checked out the post Eloriel linked and ...whew...unbelievable that some are so clueless. :cry: I am so sorry for what you have gone through ( from what I could gather on that chopped up mess) I don't think anyone can understand until they go through it. My dearest friend married this man who was truly a sociopath....I made more than a few calls to the local police in her area and to the womens shelter....she managed to free herself from him and he ha ssince passed away so she is now as free as one can be who still has memories.....

anyhow, Mandate...I am glad you are here now & look forward to seeing your name around here more.:hug::grouphug:

This is such a diverse group that we ALL have knowledge and gifts to share here IMO.

And this place is really safe most of the time to post whatever bubbles up into your consciousness. These kinds of posts are some of my favorites here!
